I have been using YouTube as a teaching tool since 2008. The platform allows dance history teachers to share what dances actually looked like in performance and it revolutionized teaching. I now share playlists with students that correspond to my lectures, rather than bogging them down with links to follow. And the rarely seen videos that have been archived on YouTube is mind-blowing. It really could be the Library of Congress for dance videos.
