Born Today: Sarah Churchill
Actor/dancer Sarah Churchill (1914–1982) was the daughter of Winston Churchill and appeared in several films during the 1930s through the 1950s. She is perhaps best known for starring with Fred Astaire (1899–1987) and Jane Powell (1929-) in the musical film Royal Wedding (1951), a semi-biographical film about Astaire’s performing partnership with his sister Adele.
